La fusta d’embotits is a traditional dish of embotits that are usually eaten with a group of people. Embotits are served on a piece of wood. They are usually accompanied with good bread with tomato. Embotits that are served are the following ones: llonganissa, fuet (another kind of Catalonian sausage), bull blanc (white sausage), bull negre (black sausage) and botifarra d’ou (egg sausage), but in every house they put the embotits that they want.
In some restaurants they usually weigh the wood with the embotits before and after serving the client to know how much it has been consumed, for charging it by weight.
