It has a round panel-shaped hat. The holes in the panels are irregular. The hat is yellowish or light brown, the whole mushroom is empty inside. The foot is fragile and has a yellowish white colour. It can measure 25cm. Time of the year: from mid March to early June. Habitat: holm-oak woods, oak woods, beeches, pine forests, parks and fruit trees. We recommend it stuffed with foie and fish, cooked with pig’s feet.
