Award-winning olive oil

Mestral extra-virgin olive oil won the First Prize for the Best Extra Virgin Olive Oil in Spain for the 2012-2013 season in the Ripe Fruity category, which is organized every year by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and the Environment. This is the very highest accolade that an olive oil can achieve in Spain.

It also won the silver medal in the Light Intensity category on 2 April at the prestigious Los Angeles International Extra Virgin Olive Oil Competition in the USA.

In addition, on 19 April the cooperative’s olive oil won the "Gourmet d'Argent" award at the international competition "Produits de Cultures d'Exception" in the category of Fruity Olive Oil.
